"Mr Hirst also said the family pet - believed to be a Staffordshire bull terrier-type - "didn't have any history" of aggression and "wasn't at all vicious"."

This in reference to the latest mauling of a bairn by a divil dug in Essex.  I would have thought it was rather viscous if it killed one bairn, and left the other with "life changing injuries"

I really thought we passed a law in this country years ago to outlaw these divil dugs?  Yet they appear with terrifying regularity, usually after another savaging leading to injury or death.

I only really came back in here to lament the mauling of yet another poor bairn by a divil dug;

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-38841230

Another poor 2 year old girl with serious facial injuries after being attacked by another "Oh, its normally so good with the kids - its never done this before" Staffordshire / Pitbull type divil dug.

Beats me that folk are energised enough to protest about Trump not coming on a visit to the country, but happily turn a blind eye to the trail of utter devastation left behind by divil dugs.  Sad
