Ther are already alternatives, simply turn stuff off and don't rely on electricity and gas so much!!

i like my home comforts, i want to save the planet without reverting to the age of the caveman.

did you see that wind generated more electricity than nuclear recently? admittedly,  it was a rare one-off due a windy day with more nukes than usual powered down for servicing but it was good symbolically.

Would really be good if so called intelligent people referred to historical phases correctly....paleolothic and if youre going to label them it would be more appropriate to call them troglodytes as opposed to cavemen .

I like a sweet little history lesson Mr R, I like those old words.
Troglodytes troglodytes is a huge name for a cute little bird too. Funny how one of the smallest birds gets a great big rough name.

Well my wee solar panels have been doing alright this year. Cool

I'm developing a free to use heating system at the moment to replace expensive gas or oil. About half the cost of a boiler based system to install and virtually maintenance free for 10 to 15 years. No fuel or running costs.

Do you think there will be a market? All the components are available already.
