what sort of car do you drive?

the last one i drove was a bus!
ducati

Giant 4x4, sensible Jap 'Eurobox' and on occasion, very fast motorbike.
Jax

Drive a pick up now, my last car was a Subaru & aint been on my motorbike for years.

Prefer my nags now as less inclined to get a speeding ticket on those

BUS
noun
1.
a large motor vehicle carrying passengers by road, typically one serving the public on a fixed route and for a fare.
"a bus service"

CAR
noun
a road vehicle, typically with four wheels, powered by an internal-combustion engine and able to carry a small number of people.
"we're going by car"

As you can see from above definitions Cait, a BUS is not a CAR!!
Perhaps you could review your submission, and post what was the last CAR you drove!

Myself I drive a VAN for work, and have several CARS in my collection of projects.

The last CAR i drove on the road (in August) was my Lotus Seven rep!!

Vauxhall Combo van. Originally a Gas Board van, then a builder had it and it seems he must have left the windows down all the time. We have to wear waterproof pants when we go for messages as the seats are piss wet through.

RagnarRocks

How about a test drive at Dunnet head in an old Banger with a sticky accelerator and no brakes
cait

how about you stop the talk of physical violence against me?
RagnarRocks

You're delusional how about you stop taking whatever illicit substances you imbibe and rejoin the real world.
cait

you've done the violent sexual threatening thing and the straight threatening violence things tonight, so it's back to the substance abuse lies. your posts are getting smaller, sadder and more predictably poor.

go and find someone to play out nicely with you. if you can.
RagnarRocks

And your delusions are growing maybe you should consult a mental health professional , it's becomming more apparent that you're quite obviously disturbed and visiting forums is not really agreeing with you.

You seem to view everything as a threat which shows quite worrying paranoid tendencies.

i'm trying to help you.

Well basically I drive a fairly large mileage in a year for my work, and have a young family, therefore my "decent" vehicle is a big uneconomical and slow pickup which fits the bill for safe, all year use with loads of space and can tow a bit.
I also use the reliable, economical van for the commute which has space to carry my mike in the back.

Therefore I do not have a suitable sace in my life at the moment for a fast or fun vehicle Sad
Perhaps if I ever get a garage I may stick something away in there for highdays and holidays.

Boo! problem is when you have family, highdays and holidays that you can enjoy on your own become few and far between!!  Having a family should be just as rewarding. Very Happy

we opted not to have a family, we opted to build a big house, so all my toys are on hold at the mo. problem now is my body is waring out!! Crying or Very sad
MI16

You would not be permitted to drive an unroadworthy, or roadworthy, vehicle on forestry track where the public have access, without appropriate insurances in place.

You would also need the permission of the landowner.
cait

thanks, that was what i wanted to know,

it has an mot and it's ok for now.

do i have to ask permission from the forestry commission to drive on their tracks?
mrsbradey

cait wrote:

Yes you do, unless it is ungated from a public road (where you still may need permission), if you have to open a gate to enter you need permission. The Forestry Commission, and I imagine, Fountain Forestry and Tillhill Forestry, will be unlikely to autherise access to there land without valid reason.
cait

thank you. that's exactly the information i needed.  Smile

cait wrote:

I would add that if the road is ungated, then the rules of the road apply, ie; contruction and use, minimum third party insurance, mot, tax etc.!
cait

thanks. you're a real mine of valuable information. it's taxed and insured. Smile
cait

it's taxed an insured but it's not here yet. that's why i'm here and not in the car.  Sad
ducati

Careful you don't get all those fingers caught in the steering wheel.

I don't think slerangeordie ever post an insult as sedate as this, just obnoxious filth aimed not at forum members, but at close members of their families, which presumably gained him the reaction he craved.

Generally trolls are to be expected, but when they offend members of this forum to the extent sleveren has, they become intollerable and un acceptable.

Hope that helps.

Admin

They didn't get any reaction just put a target and price on his head quite simple  Evil or Very Mad

there are a number of unacceptable degrees of obnoxiousness, many of which in my opinion have been transgressed by members of the in-crowd on this forum.
RagnarRocks

We'll never mind diddums you can always go to the pc org and have fun there trust me we won't miss you
admin

There are indeed a number of unacceptable degrees of obnoxiousness. my answer to that would be don't get too personal, and don't push it.

As for the 'in~crowd' I can assure you no one is exempt from moderation.

We at admin absolutely hate moderation, and would rather not, but, as is oft said 'needs must'.

Regards,

Admin.
