Treasure Cove

Do you collect anything, as a hobby or just because you like the thing?

I love bits of old, patterned crockery that turn up when I'm digging in the garden or we get a field ploughed up.Some parts of the patterns are intriguing as I can't figure out what they may have been. I usually draw them in my special 'broken pottery drawing book' and chuck them back in the plot. One part of the garden doesn't have much crocks in it so when I smash a mug or plate in the house I add the little bits to the garden in case some future veg grower has a liking for it too!
I don't suppose a broken Tesco mug will have quite the same charm as the old bits I find but in the future they may only have plastic cups and you can't break them into shards very easily. Yes, I have tried.

Go on then, what do you treasure me hearties?

I told you not to buy that plot next to the chemical factory!  Shocked
