susie

Here Ada, is it true they're using an effigy of you as the guy-on-top-of-the-bonfire?
mrsbradey

I really don't believe you sometimes susie, I've never heard such nonsense.

Mind you there were some kindly children round, asking for clothes to be donated to the poor people, they would only take one dress  though which I thought strange at the time....................

.........................the bastads!!
susie

Oh come on Ada, that dress will be for the marquee they'll be setting up for tea and buns in the evening.
RagnarRocks

Would this be the same rotary that used a photographers picture to advertise their event without asking his permission first and not giving him even the decency of accrediting his work.
Mr P Cannop

How did it go last night Paul did you go?
Mr P Cannop

i was helping out at this
mrsbradey

I enjoyed a small display that one of my neighbours had last night. I was stood in the field with Jax's three horses, two of them enjoyed it too!
MI16

not a fan of the fireworks much
whilst i agree they are quite nice to watch, they terrorise most animal creatures within earshot.
mrsbradey

I totally agree Mi16, I think it is irresponsible and selfish of folks living in the countryside, and towns I guess, to set off big screemin rockets and massive bangers when there are animals living next door or in surrounding fields!

As it was a clear moonlight night last night, I was able to see all the sheep in the field cowering in a cluster!   Sad
RagnarRocks

My neighbour decided to let off three loud bangers the other night fortunately I'd put all my chooks away otherwise I'd of fed a few up his arse and let them off
MI16

i dont see the point, some loonball tried to blow up parliment many moons ago, so we spend millions and injure hundreds annually to commemorate.

Next we will have big gaz day, when we all erect a replica of 10 downing street then attemp to cake bomb it.

Or a 911 day, when we fly fuel laden model aircraft into the side of buildings

hows about an IRA day, when we kneecap folk for little or no reason
RagnarRocks

Sound like fun ideas when can we start

I'm pretty good with baking, and a friend of mine builds model planes, ironically he's not very good at flying them so is very accomplished at crashing them into things!!! Laughing

I wonder if it was the fireworks that was worrying them.
