The World Today

So some time has passed since we last discussed world matters.
In the interim we have seen Daesh rise and commit some pretty horrific human atrocities.
We have seen immigrants flood to the West in massive numbers and poor kiddies perish in the seas being trafficked across to Europe.
We have now recently seen the UK get involved in the fight against Daesh in Syria.

where do you think things will end up in the next few months?
Will the air strikes do the trick and kill Daesh off or will it not even scratch the surface and Daesh will continue to rise and commit atrocities on our shores.

I have to agree, the world is quite messed up right now! It is unlikely that the air strikes will make much difference in the long run, and is probably more a case of political 'feel good'.

Not sure what the answer is, but I am sure there will be a lot of serious unrest a cross the whole of Europe and in particular the UK!

airstrikes

It's bound to put off new recruits if there is a good chance, 15minutes after you get off the bus, your eyeballs are hanging in a tree.

If we can take out or seriously diminish their training, command and planning people via the military intervention in Syria and Iraq then perhaps people coming through will cease.
We will still have the Daesh Jihadis which are embedded into our states but a suicide bomber rarely gets repeat work

Oh the answer to that is easy. Just write into the constitution the right to bear arms.
