The Bradey Bunch And The Quiz that Never Was

Once upon a time,
the Bradey Bunch, Mrs Bradey, Jax, therealducati and thedesignatedducati, heard of a Quiz to be held at the old castle in aid of the poor unfortunate children of the Castle town.
They decided it would be a great adventure to take part in and win the quiz in aid of the poor unfortunate children of the Castle town so the Bradey Bunch, Mrs Bradey, Jax, therealducati and thedesignatedducati set off in the Little Car that Could Parp Parp. The first adventure was the old road to the old Bradey place where the Little Car That Could Parp Parp fell into every pot hole and climbed, climbed, climbed out Parp Parp.
On the way to the Castle, the Bradey Bunch,  Mrs Bradey, Jax, therealducati and thedesignatedducati talked excitedly about all the quiz questions they could answer and how they would win the quiz in aid of the poor unfortunate children of the Castle town (as long as there wasn’t too many football ones). They eventually arrived at the Castle in the Little Car That Could Parp Parp and had to park on the road because the carpark was so full of quiz in aid of the poor unfortunate children of the Castle town contestants.
They, Mrs Bradey, Jax, therealducati and thedesignatedducati rushed excitedly into the Castle. But on arrival at the bar, what do you think? They, Mrs Bradey, Jax, therealducati and thedesignatedducati were told  “the quiz in aid of the poor unfortunate children of the Castle town was cancelled because nobody gave a fuck about them. Shocked
Well, can you imagine how disappointed the Bradey Bunch, Mrs Bradey, Jax, therealducati and thedesignatedducati were? So they, Mrs Bradey, Jax, therealducati and thedesignatedducati resigned to sit and put the world to rights, while getting completely shebbered, all except thedesignatedducati who smiled and nodded a lot. He then drove  the rest of the Bradey Bunch, Mrs Bradey, Jax, therealducati home in the Little Car That Could Parp Parp who fell into and climbed, climbed, and climbed back out Parp Parp of all the pot holes on the old road up to the old Bradey place again!

The End Laughing
Jax

Parp parp yourself!

Was a good night out nice not to drive for a change, made our own quiz and at least we knew all the answers  Shocked

Before setting off, you should have of course posted a thread saying "Does anyone know if there is a quiz on tonight?"

We did one better than that, we asked in the pub the night before and it was still on......

That would have been too smart.

To make us feel at home, one of the smartly dressed, and well spoken bar staff asked us a couple of questions, such as;

What is the capital of Luxenberg?

and.......

How much do you think this round will cost?

It was quite the thrill as we conferred vigourously to answer these testing questions, before the end of the imaginary time limit!! Laughing

And... will you go home now?

That was the hard one, and took quite a lot of conferring, but eventually we did come up with the answer; OK, if you insist!!

Didn't hear about it.

Pretty daft to organise a quiz for the busiest night in the week if you ask me, whilst we were there for 'the quiz that never was', the staff were rushed off there feet, and there was quite a few of them. They should hold it on a Tues  or Wed!!

If I was a poor unfortunate child of the Castle town, I'd be puttin' their winders in!
cait

would they have enough people for a good number of teams if they had the quiz on a quiet night?

It would all depend on advertising and demand, they won't know unless they give it a go.

hope they get it sorted as was looking forward to it!
