EU Referendum

Anyone agree the meeja might have peaked too soon?
ducati

I'm thinking out, just cos it will be funnier and more entertaining. Er..Scotland in the UK though, I'm not insane!😁

Still not decided. Interesting to think, most of uk energy and utilities owned by eu companies, along with substantial percentage of engineering, manufacturing and food production. Also retail, advertising, publishing etc. Not to mention Scottish whiskey and spirits brands. Seems to me bearing that in mind, we would be able to negotiate a good deal.

Out for me, mainly to slow down the euro migrants, coming over here and taking our jobs and wimmin etc! :-)
ducati

Well, it's just the jobs really, they can have the wimmin.😲

I am just sick of it all and there are months to go before the referendum. Of course then we will have the mass migration of Americans to deal with if Trump gets in

So wotcha think now at T minus 2 and a bit days?
mrsbradey

I think it will be very close, everyone I speak to is (or has voted) voting out, with only a few undecided.
Guess we'll know in the morning :-)

Twas the same over the water here.  In fact, the biggest shock for all came in the Orkney result.  Everyone I have spoken to was/is out, and they say that everyone they spoke to said/says the same.  All gobsmacked at the level of support for remain, when it would appear that there are more pandas in Edinburgh zoo than there are remain supporters in Orkney who make their views know.

No suggestion of any consipiracies (In Orkney? c'mon....) but the result is just the complete opposite of what everyone who makes their views public says.  On the bright side, evryone last night out and about was very buoyant about it with quite a few "independence day" celebrations going on.  Only slightly marred by the threats of Mrs Murrel to take us through another charade of neverendum.  Confused
mrsbradey

Exactly, still struggle to find more than a few remain voters on my travels, everyone seems happy to be out :-) as am I ! :-)
