Caithness NHS surgeons

So it's no becommimg apparent that the inability of Caithness to get a surgeon is down to short term contracts being offered and nothing to do with surgeons of quality not wanting to move up here. I find it sadly amusing how the NHS is being centralised by SNP policy and our ahighland Councillors do very little about it. Mr Fernie may well feel that it's herpic to jump on the bandwagon after a petition has been started online by a local and signed by thousands but where was he before hand. Like so many of our highland councillors they aren't fit for purpose and only interested in lining their pockets. It's about time the NHS was run for the local community and a scythe was run through the top heavy management structure to unburden ourselves of to many bureaucrats.

Imagine if the council had decided to slum it a bit longer instead of wasting 9million on a farcical facade to the council offices, we could be overrun with medical staff, and they may have been able to sort out Killimster Moss road that is wrecking our motors!!

Seriously though, its a joke if short contracts are stopping the sugeons coming up here then simply draw up some longer term contracts. What are they afraid of?

It doesn't fit with the SNP centralising mentality for one and then able to blame everything on whomever is in power in Westminster. The other why have a decent surgeon on a long term contract when you ca have five managers paid more telling you it's not affordable. You're thinking like a right minded person who is concerned about their services rather than a socialist who wants a lifetimes employment gold plated pension and the ability to tell everyone how to do everything with no actual skills.

Talking of which, I saw a van load of Poles bailing out of a Glasgow stonemason company van and going onto the site. If only we had any stonemasons in Caithness. Rolling Eyes
